A Balance of Medical Science with Clinical Artistry
Following her training in surgical ophthalmology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where she focused on the delicate structures surrounding the eyes, she concentrated her training on cosmetic facial procedures, including laser surgery, injectable fillers, BOTOX, and chemical peels. At Connecticut Facial Plastic Surgery, she provides patients with highly personalized care in a warm, boutique setting. She was a Presidential Scholar and graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College, where she was a record-holder in two events for the varsity swimming team. She focused her education on scientific research and artistic design, and was the recipient of grants from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and The March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation. At the University of Rochester School of Medicine, she was elected to the Student Senate and chosen to represent her class as Marshal at commencement.
At the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, she completed internships in pediatrics and internal medicine, followed by a residency in ophthalmology, where she was selected to be the Chief Resident. She then furthered her surgical training with one of the most sought-after fellowships in the country. During her time there, she published extensively, was awarded the first-place Merck award for ophthalmology research, was the recipient of the National Eye Institute Travel Fellowship Grant, and presented at numerous national conferences. Her decades of experience at Connecticut Facial Plastic Surgery elevate the practice’s ability to deliver exceptional care to every patient by offering an additional layer of expertise and continuity. Dr. Michelle Seeley’s primary goal is to use her clinical knowledge, surgical skills, and artistic touch to deliver beautiful cosmetic enhancements that look refreshing and natural.
