In many cases, surgical rhinoplasty is the gold-standard for aesthetic nasal correction, but for one reason or another, there are times when surgery isn't possible or preferred by patients. In these cases, a non-surgical rhinoplasty using injectable dermal fillers can change the shape of the nose and is also referred to as liquid rhinoplasty.
Non-Surgical Nose Job at Connecticut Facial Plastic Surgery
Non-surgical rhinoplasty uses injectable dermal fillers to add volume and change the shape of the nose. This procedure can fill depressions on the bridge of the nose and can harmonize the size and shape of the nasal tip and bridge. Our goal with this procedure is to refine the nose's appearance and bring the facial features into balance.
The non-surgical nose job itself looks much like any injectable filler treatment. We start with a consultation where our board-certified surgeons discuss the risks and benefits of the procedure. We review medical history to make sure that the treatment is a safe choice. If you decide to go forward with the procedure, we'll create a treatment plan together, choosing fillers and planning out injection locations.
When it is time for the treatment to begin, we apply a topical numbing cream to the nose. Then a series of small injections are made into the nose until the desired shape is achieved. After treatment, patients can return to work, school, or other activities without downtime. Most patients notice immediate improvements with continued refinement over the following days.
At Connecticut Facial Plastic Surgery, all our injectable treatments, including non-surgical rhinoplasty, are performed by our highly trained and experienced doctors. We prioritize patient safety and satisfaction, ensuring each result looks natural and balanced.
